To have lunch. A simple phrase that let's you think about what happened just after breakfast and what's next up until dinner. It's simple as having a break. You realize how hectic it was and yet you still need something to keep you going. At MIREIO, it might seem a bit too much just for a quick lunch, but it does take your mind away from all the things you have to do even just for a while.
Mireio replenishes your body and energy. It let's you take a breather and freezes time. It's that kind of a restaurant. Yes, you could still talk business here but the view and the vibe spells relax.
No need to worry about choices. They have a MENU DEJEUNER that gives guests options to enjoy a 3 course or a 2 course meal. Pegged at 1,100++ or 988 ++ Php respectively, you could have dessert as well.
Appetizers are curated to give you something light. It could be a cherry tomato compote tart with clams and snails inside or even a Tuna carpaccio with peas to keep it together.
Chicken Liver mousse might also do the trick if you're into that sort of thing.
Although not part of the LUNCH SET MENU, the tartare is fresh, seasoned correctly, and devilish done. This might be a great alternative just in case the appetizers aren't to your liking.
Going back, the main courses are treated in a way to give you fresh and straight to the point flavors.
For something healthy, the baby squid with creamy polenta could give you that boost. No need to worry as the ingredients are given the respect it deserves. The squid is not the rubbery version you might expect from other restaurants rather it gives off a bite. This shows off the skill and the quality of the cooking.
On the other hand, if you want something hefty, the BEEF TONGUE with mushroom sauce or the SIRLOIN might make you one happy camper. It actually surprised me to see such a huge cut of meat to be included in the lunch set at MIREIO. It's quite flavorful and it's high quality meat. No worries there.
One can't really end a meal without dessert. It's usually a toss up between a CATALANE CREAM with berries on top or a freshly baked Tart.
