It's not always that we get to enjoy a night of glam and glitz and dress up. At the recently concluded E BLOGGERS BALL, influencers were invited to attend this event to award the different top notch bloggers in their respected field. From trending, breakthrough, groupie, fashion, food, and travel.
I for one, enjoy going out and looking good. Pardon the narcissistic tendency, but I really miss doing these kind of things. After everyone got a chance to mingle and check out the different sponsored booths, we were escorted to the grand ballroom of the CITY OF DREAMS MANILA. There, the stage was set.
Of course, food was on top of the list and I believe the kitchen did a wonderful job serving hundreds of attendees. The dinner started with the salmon sashimi appetizer. It had a ponzu jelly that gave it character and depth. I enjoyed this as I had seconds.
The soup for the night was of a pumpkin base. It was all right and filling. The main course could have been better though. At first glance, you might think that it was a chocolate brownie. After forking it up, you realize that it's the Angus beef cheek. The flavor was somewhat monotonous and it lacked that factor to make it memorable. Granted that it was tender, it could have been better.
Thankfully, the dinner ended with a 24K Dark Chocolate Dome dessert. A flourless orange cake to was down everything. Drinks served were different types of beer from San Miguel and also some wine.
While the dinner was being served, everyone was serenaded by the talented, Clara Benin. Definitely worth checking out her page for her covers.
