When it comes to taking food photos for
social media, having a colorful and vibrant dish always helps in delivering the
message. At BonChon, they created this new rice bowl to spur up your curiosity
and your creative juices. The Taco Bibimbowl is a playful twist on the well-loved Korean Dish.
Launched just a few weeks ago, the TACO
BIBIMBOWL is a mixture of two dominant flavors. It’s a fusion between Korean
and Mexican flavors. From afar, you won’t be
able to distinguish the difference between the two. A look closer, and you’ll realize it
is something different and worthy of a try. Taking a photo before devouring it
is a must. The experience feels complete when shared with family and friends.
Traditionally, the BIBIMBAP is a rice meal
topped with different seasoned vegetables, meat and other Korean spices. Just
before eating, you mix it all up to be able to taste all the parts in one bite.
Here at BonChon, they gave it a spin by adding fresh salsa, soft mexican beans,
nachos, and a secret Ko-Mex sauce.
A bite in and you get the best of both
worlds. There were no friction between flavors. Honestly, it was like having a
taco fiesta inside your mouth. The Korean Glazed meat went well with the beans
and the salsa. The nachos gave the dish bite and texture. If you’re not into
meat, you could also opt to go for the chicken or seafood variant.
To add to the experience and to make the
meal more interesting, you could try out the Jjamppong Spicy Seafood Noodle
Soup. By opting to have the TACO BIBIMBOWL as a meal, you could check out one
of their newest side dishes. A little bit spicy, this egg noodle soup is topped
with crispy fish poppers and gives off a kimchi-ish flavor.
The TACO BIBIMBOWL is priced at 99Php ala
carte. Patrons could also avail of the Ricebox
option at 155Php too. This includes a drink and a choice between Bulgogi Noodle
Soup and the BonChon Jjamppong. It is available in all BonChon Metro manila
restaurants in the Philippines.
