WITB: Steveston Pizza from UP Town Center

Don't you hate it when you stayed at home and your family goes out and eats at nice restos!

Such a time happened to me. Yeah just last week. They said that they're just going to the dentist. Behold when they got back after 3 hours, they already ate pizza.

Ace Coffee Lounge

After our swim (click), we were a bit hungry. Since most of us (read: them) didn't want to go out just to eat, we tried out the food in the building itself.
We were led to Ace Coffee Cafe.

UP Town Center's Ihop and Highlands Coffee and other resto...

I got to say it, the newest place in town is UP TOWN CENTER!!!
From their FB
A few nights ago, I received an invite from a college buddy saying that we should meet up in UP TC. Without any hesitation I said yes. Why? The fact that the place is only 7-8 minutes away from my house and that we usually meet down south (read: moa, cavite, moa!!!), this is definitely a welcomed change of pace. LOL! Ang layo at ang trapik kaya going to MOA and Cavite LOL!.

The place isn't that big, mind you, and you could actually go around it in less than 5 minutes. I believe that they plan to make other buildings at the back to further make use of the space and get some more stores in there. So far only less than 1/4 of the place is built.

Outbreak Missions' The Narrows: Disappointed and "Disqualified" and BFing about it.

A few weeks ago, I invited my office mates to join a run like no other.
The Outbreak Missions.

I was so hyped up that upon learning about this run I "lured" my coworkers and went on over to the nearest registration store and to sign them all up on the second day of registration. I was that excited because I knew that we would be in for a treat.

Being a veteran of 2 Outbreak Runs (EK and BGC2) and tons of online and offline rpg games, I was thrilled to learn that this isn't a run but rather a story. The Outbreak series has spread into a "story mode".

The 1st 2 are: Adarna Initiative and The Narrows

JD House of Lasagna

One lazy night, my friends and I looked for a cozy place to relax and eat up. Since we were in the McKinley Area, we didn't have much options because it was already past midnight.
I wasn't really craving for anything but K wanted to have some pasta. So we ended up here.

Flying Solo in Ramen X

One rainy night, I found myself all alone in Trinoma. I had done a lot of errands that day. I went back and forth to different places and malls just to get this and that. (Why did I go shopping alone?! WHY!!!!?)
With my tummy bugging me and telling me to stop doing these awful chores, I tried to look for a budget friendly place that could brighten up my night. Haven't you ever experienced that? It was as if everything was sucked out of you. No more energy and no more money!! ARGH! LOL!
So yeah, I was tired, almost broke (damn GTA V, Blurays, external hard drive, and laptop accessories) and it was raining hard.
I found a place that I hope could do the job. RAMEN X!!!

Going back to Mercato..New and Old Favorites.

A long long long time ago in a far far away land, I used to work in Quezon City. During this time, I was able to meet a few friends that gamely went along with my "addiction" of going around the metro, staying in Resorts World to watch a movie at 2am and uhm going to Tagaytay (don't tell my mom) for some late night/ early morning road trips.
Most of the time, we would just go to mercato for a late night food trip and then some.

Going fast forward, now that I work in McKinley Hill, I am ever so close to Mercato that Ms. A and Ms. K went with me to checkout the place.

During my previous visits, I was a little disappointed because the number of stalls were dwindling.
Thankfully this time, there were a lot of stalls around.

Let me just share a few of the stalls that I was able to try.

People close to me would know that I love Japanese Food. Some of the greatest snacks come from Japan so I was thankful that I got to see the old takoyaki stall still there.
Of course, the original takoyaki have some octopus inside (Like Gindaco in SG).
This stall offers crab meat instead.
